I got these adorable PumpkinBella images from an image swap. I stamped a few images for someone, and she stamped a few for me, then we swapped. 
It was fun because I got to get a few images that I thought I'd like, try them out, and decide if I like them enough to buy them. Well I do! I love them and I want more of my own! But the Stamping budget is on hold until after our move... pooh! So anyways, I colored the Bellas with my Copic markers, and used various papers that I had. 
Some of the paper is Stampin' Up! and most of the patterened papers are Paperchase. The Happy Halloween sentiment and jack o lanterns are from Hero Arts. I had a lot of fun putting these cards together. I had no particular ideas for the cards before I started, but gathered some supplies that I wanted to use, and crafted away!

Also, I made the mat for the sentiment by putting two curly label punches together. I like how it turned out.
Jean illustrates these adorable little animals (there are some people too) and the sentiments that go along with them. I was lucky enough to win these off her blog a few weeks ago. She's a local lady, and while she's done several Make 'n Takes at my local scrapbook/hobby stores, I've never gotten a chance to attend one and meet her. Hopefully I'll get the chance soon!
And the second one blew me away! I don't know how she did it, but I love all the layers of colors, the light in the windows, the moon, all of it!
A wonderful lady named Debbie gave it to me as a going away gift. It's 5 (yes FIVE) sets of Inkadinkadoo stamps! Here's a pic of the stamps that came in the set: 
Sorry it's not a great pic. Do you know how hard it is to take a picture of acrylic stamps? lol! It's not easy.

We used the Holy Triptych stamp set as well as Snow Swirled for some of the sentiments, and my mom's spanish sentiment stamp set (I can't remember the name of it).
We also used a white signo gel pen to highlight the images, and then put dazzling diamond dust glitter on then to make them shine and sparkle.
The second card we did was this one:
I made it pretty simple keeping in mind that the guests were "new" stampers, but they went with it and did all kinds of neat stuff! This first one is my Mom's. She actually didn't get to color it until after the party was over and all the guests left. She got busy with "hostess duties" and playing with some little ones who came with their mommies.
The guests all loved the many different occassions that they could use this stamp set for.
We used the curly label punch for the sentiment, but some people used it as embellishment too. 
A lot of the guests used the blender pens and chalks to add decoration around their images too.
All in all, we had a great time. The guests ate ALL our cookies and friendship bread, and I think they all had fun. Also, my wonderful upline, Alisha, came over to help me out and I had here make some little gifts for the guests that brought a friend. Three of them brought a friend and they got to take home a little basket of toiletries. Here are the baskets that Alisha made:

YUM! Angel loves this stuff! But a bunch of garlic bread isn't exactly the right food for a baby so Nana took it away...
She cooked all day because we had some people over for an authentic mexican dinner. It was really yummy and everyone had plenty of food and enjoyed it. She made refried beans, menudo, hot salsa, chicken enchiladas, and spanish rice (all from scratch). We also had some tamales and rice pudding for dessert. Thanks for the yummy dinner mom (although she cooks like this at least once a week-just not this amount. We're spoiled!)
The card will get to her a little late, but it comes along with a book, so I hope she doesn't mind. This next one is for one of my BILs. 
Yes, it's for a guy, but I figured that since the image has my hair, I can pretend it's me! That way they card isn't too girly for him (I hope!). Finally, these last two are for our neighbors. Two sweet little girls, who are sisters, shared their birthday party with eachother this year. Their birthdays are actually a couple weeks apart, but they had a fun time sharing their birthday. This card is for the older sister:

The younger sister happens to be one DAY younger than Angel Baby! Yep, our neighbor (three houses over) had their baby girl the day after I had Angel. Crazy, huh?
