A SWEET post!

Hey there friends! Today I want to show you some sweet stuff. First up, my Sugar & Spice card using Ballerina Anya: I won this sweet little ballerina stamp about a month ago during her surprise release with The Greeting Farm. I started off this card CASEing the card shown HERE . It was going to be for the challenge, but I just couldn't get it done it time. I wanted to finish the card anyway. I love the way it came together. I obviously didn't stick to the layout of the original card, or the colors, but when you CASE a card, you mainly use the original card for inspiration and I did! The "sugar & spice" sentiment stamp is from Kim Hughes' Little Gal stamp set at Cornish Heritage Farms and I thought it worked perfect for this image. AND... want to see my personal little ballerina? Here she is!
Isn't Angel adorable? She picked out this outfit ALL ON HER OWN, I promise! It's a ballerina costume that my mom bought for her at a yard sale a long time ago and I've been saving it for Halloween. It's still big on her but she wanted to wear it and she had a great time in it! She strolled her "baby" around the house for about an hour! Now that she's discovered that she can walk, she does it all the time, in circles from one end of the house to the other! LOL!
Well, since I'm talking about sweet stuff, you have got to check out this blog candy:

Can you believe it??? A whole set of copic markers, Five different sets of Nestabilities, Basic grey paper, Miss Anya stamp set, and MORE!!! Debbie is giving away this candy over at her blog for her Blogoversary. Run over there right now and enter!!! Click HERE to enter. You have until tomorrow, so RUN! LOL!
Ok, so I know I promised that there will be other stamps from other companies on my blog besides TGF, so come back tomorrow, or Friday (not sure which day I'll post next) and there will be!
Thanks so much for stopping by again. Leave me some love in my comment section and let me know you were here, k?
Until Next Post, I hope you are wonderfully Blessed!

I've been one lucky lady!

Or should I say "blessed"? BOTH I guess! I entered the non-raffle on SCS to help the Bushfires in Australia and guess what? I won... TWICE!!! YES! I won a $25 gift certificate from Freckled and Fun so I'll be getting some watermarks for my photos and a signature for my blog posts. I also won three free digital downloads from Squigglefly. You'll be seeing the watermarks as soon as I get them and learn how to use them properly, and the digital images will show up on a couple of my projects soon! Well, I am super happy about winning these things but guess what? That's not ALL!!! I also won some blog candy from Joni and Kadie! From Joni, I guessed the correct number of Easter eggs on one of her fabulous altered magazine holders and I won Hello Ian from The Greeting Farm! From Kadie, I just left a comment on a post and subscribed to her blog and I won my pick of one of the fairies from The Greeting Farm. Since I already have all three (heehee) she let me pick the new Anya, Flutter Anya! I can't wait to get my new TGF stamps and as soon as I get them I know I will be making stuff with them to show you all. Well, for his post I want to post something I made as a gift, but since I haven't given the gift yet, and I don't want to spoil the surprise, you all will have to be content with a pic of my kiddos!
The first one is of Angel showing Ashton her Easter Basket and the next one is of my Catcher! Andrew is the catcher for his team this year and he's really good! I guess it's a good thing Andrew's never been afraid of getting hit by the ball, lol!

Thank you all for stopping by again today. Until next post, be blessed.

Happy Sunny Saturday!

Hey there Everyone! The weather here in Northern Italy is so incredibly beautiful that I'm itching to get outside. So here's a quick post for you all (since I promised to try to post more often) of another name plaque. After making Angel's plaque, the boys saw it and both wanted one. I made this one for Andrew using Dress Up Ian. He picked the colors and the papers. He also wanted it to look like smoke was billowing around the words and the edges of the frame so I sponged some white ink onto some of it.
I still need to make Ashton's name plaque, but the last long frame I have is currently being used for some pictures and I haven't decided if I want to pull the pics out of it or not. I think I will, I just have to find another way to display the other pictures.
Thank you all for stopping by again today, I hope you'll leave a comment and let me know you were here!
Until next post, be blessed!

Oops...

Hey there people! Sorry it's been so long since I last posted. I really REALLY want to be more consistent wih my posts, and that's now one of my new goals. I am going to stive to post 3-4 times a week, consistently! I'm thinking that I'll post Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for sure and sometimes on the weekend as well. Todays post is going to be a short one since I have two more chores I need to complete before the boys get home from school. So, remember the Rockin' Anya Trading cards that I made a couple weeks ago? Well, I sent them out for the swap and I forgot to add the postage for them to return to me! OOPS! So, I decided to make a pretty little Princess card for the swap hostess to enjoy when I mail her my postage. I decided to make a red haired princess for a change and I think she came out pretty cute.
Well, I know I've been using pretty much nothing but TGF stamps lately and I love them so much, but some of you all might appreciate seeing some other styles of images from other companies, so I promise to post some projects from other companies soon. I recently discoverd some adorable digital images online that are FREE so I downloaded them and printed them out and can't wait to get a project made from them. Also, I won some digi's from another company that I am anxious to use as well. I'll let you know all about these digi images when I post the projects with them. And... I have some Stampin' Up! stamps that have still never seen ink! I have some projects planned with them as well.
ALSO, I know some of you were interested in my book swap/giveaway idea. I am going to get that posted asap, I promise.
I hope you liked the card today and until next post, be blessed!

It's Club Anya's Blog Hoppin' Bash!!!

I'm so excited! For the first time ever, I am part of a blog hop! And for one of my favorite stamp companies, The Greeting Farm! WooHoo!!! If you don't know what I'm talking about and you want all the details and the list of blogs to hop around to, go HERE. I made a special little project for this blog hop; a project that I've been wanting to make ever since I first laid eyes on the Angel Anya stamp. Since my daughter's name is Angel, I HAD to make a name plaque for her room. Here it is: It turned out just right! I used little chipboard letters for her name and glued them onto some DP. Then I stamped, colored, and cut out the cross (also from The Greeting Farm) and Angel Anya. I put Angel Anya outside of the frame so she would be more of a focal point for the project. Here's a close up of her:
Isn't she adorable?!? There is a lot of glitter on this project too. After I colored her with my Copic's, I added some Sakura glitter on her wings, halo, and around her whole body for a sparkly aura type of look. Here's is a close up of the cross and you can see the sparkles that are on the chipboard pieces as well:
Well, I'm not going to chit-chat much longer since I know you are all anxious to hop over to the next blog and see some more Anya and Ian fabulousness! Since this hop is taking place around 2am for me here in Italy, I probably won't see everything until the morning. So, have a great time Hoppin' and I'll catch you all on the next post.
Until then, Be Blessed!

The Gelato Truck

Hey there! I have a couple stamping projects in the works, but I wanted to show you something else that I think is pretty neat. Here in our little town of Sedrano, Italy, we get an Ice Cream truck comng by twice a week. It's actually a Gelato truck but they serve more than just Gelato as you will see in a minute. Here's a picture of the truck when it stopped last week right in front of our house (he knows his frequent customers, lol!): I don't know those two people ordering gelato in case you were wondering. Here is a picture of Angel enjoying her chocolate gelato:

She loves the stuff as you can tell! Yes, her shirt was stained beyond saving, but that's ok cuz it was already stained with spaghetti sauce. Here's Ashton demonstrating his gelato eating technique:
Did you see Angel in the background? She's practicing using her spoon ;) Here's one of Andrew showing that he's almost done with his treat:
And last but not least; The Gelato truck not only serves Gelato, but they also serve snacks and drinks. Here's a litte treat I bought David from the truck:

LOL! He was happily surprised when I came in with this. He had never tried this type of "birra" (Italian for Beer) before. It was pretty good actually and I'm not a beer drinker! Well, I hope you enjoyed another little glimpse into our life here in Italy. Come back tomorrow for my Club Anya Blog Hop post! It's gonna be fun!
Until then, Be Blessed!

Happy Easter!

I hope you all are having a wonderfully blessed Easter today. We're going to be enjoying eachother's company today and having a yummy dinner tonight that David is making! Yea! Well, here's my big project that I've been working on for awhile. I'm in a Membership Card Swap for Club Anya. We each made 10 membership cards and we'll swap them with each other and get 10 different cards back. I'm excited to get my cards back because I am in a group with a lot of talented ladies. Here's a closeup of my card: I used Rockstar Anya and the sentiment is from Just Jawing by Stampin' Up! Here are all ten of the cards together:

I had fun making these cards. I love The Greeting Farm images. As a matter of fact, I'm going to be part of the next release! I'm going to be a stop on the Club Anya Blog Hoppin' Bash and I'm so excited. I'm working on a couple projects for the blog hop because I'm not sure which one I want to post for the Blog Hop. You can read all about it HERE and if you have any Ian's or Anya's you can participate too!
Well, thank you so much for stopping in and until next post, be blessed.
